The GAA under the sponsorship of Miss Michel had an extremely active schedule in both intra-mural and inter-mural activities as they competed with each other and opposed other school teams. Volleyball, swimming, and gymnastics not only provided a physical outlet but also helped develop feminine poise and confidence. Their frequent events always was a good source of news and announcement copy.
