TRACK ROW ONE: Pat Luzadder, Joe Sherman, Steve Ohrval, Steve Parrish. ROW TWO: James Gierhart, Tom Jarvis, Charles Sursa, Brad Cole, Mark Johns, Frank Eavey. ROW THREE: Mgr. Tom Sherman, Phil Adams, Tom Stevening, Jim Rarick, Tim Jarvis, Rick Overfield, Mark Kilgore. ROW FOUR: Asst. Coach Francis Lafferty, Jim Harris, Jeff Delk, Wes Lyon, Luther Bradley, Kirk McShurley, Dan Stanley, Coach Ken Miller.

Winning first in the Greenfield Invitational and the Muncie Relays, the Titan tracksters fought for an additional six wins of nine. The reserves struck for a pair of wins while losing four. In addition to being co-captain with Pat Luzadder, Luther Bradley also qualified to be a participant in the state track meet in his specialty, the 440. Kirk McShurley was a sectional champion in the high jump. Tim Shaffer merited the Outstanding Freshman Award.
