2009 Reunion Home

To all former Good News Singers:

2009 is an exciting year for First Baptist Church in Muncie, IN.  On September 10th we will be celebrating our 150th Anniversary.

We are inviting all Good News Singers to once again reassemble to help with the celebration.  Roy Williams, former Minister of Music, and Barbara Eidson will be working together in directing the choir.  We are planning for the group to sing for the Open House Reception on Saturday evening (September 12th) and again at the morning service on Sunday (September 13th).  Rehearsal times are scheduled for Friday evening (September 11th) at 7:00pm (for anyone in the area or arriving that soon) and Saturday morning (September 12th) at 10:00am.  Lunch will be provided on Saturday.  Once again, this will be a time for renewing old friendships and reminiscing.

Roy has already chosen the opening number from “Good News” along with "Pass It On" and the "Reprise" from "Tell It Like It Is" for Saturday evening.  He will direct those two and Barb will play.  Barb is still checking on special numbers for Sunday morning.  Barb will direct and Roy will play.  If you have a request, notify Barb by e-mail or phone.  We will close the service by singing “Friends.”
